Yet you're also just a 5-minute walk from downtown Sisters, where you'll find charming shops, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, galleries, and everything that makes this mountain town so special. One of our favorite things about The Black Crater Chalets is that no two chalets are alike. While each shares the same spacious layout, soaring 26-foot vaulted ceilings, and stunning mountain views, each has its own unique personality. One chalet embraces a warm, modern mountain aesthetic with natural textures and timeless finishes. Another—our "Bourbon & Cigars" suite—features a bold, dark, moody interior inspired by upscale cocktail lounges and mountain lodges. The third offers a bright, peaceful Scandinavian-inspired design with clean lines, earthy tones, and a relaxing minimalist feel. Your group gets to experience all three. What truly sets The Black Crater Chalets apart is the unique combination of shared experiences and private spaces. You'll have all three chalets exclusively to yourselves, giving your group room to spread out while still staying together. Each chalet features a huge vaulted ceilings, massive windows, beautiful interior design, and open, light-filled living spaces that showcase the surrounding mountain views. Across the property you'll enjoy 3 fully equipped kitchens, 3 living rooms, 3 lofted bedrooms with king size beds, 3 queen sleeper sofas in the living room, 3 full bathrooms, 3 dining areas, and 3 in-unit washers and dryers. Whether you're cooking together, gathering after a day of adventure, or simply enjoying your own space, you'll have all the comforts of home. Step outside and each chalet has its own fully fenced private patio complete with comfortable seating, a fire pit, and its own private saltwater hot tub that's available 24/7. Every family or couple can enjoy their own outdoor space while still being just steps from one another. Beyond the private patios is a beautifully landscaped courtyard that is exclusively yours when you reserve the entire property. Relax together in the Adirondack chairs, stretch out in the hammocks, and take in the spectacular Central Oregon scenery. Couple of additional details about the property: - If you are a smaller group (4 or less), you can also book individual chalets (see those listings on my profile) - While we are dog friendly, we ask that you keep dogs out of unit 102 (the middle unit), as unit 102 is not dog friendly. Please note that in Central Oregon in the Winter we often have snowy road conditions. To make things simple, we stick to our stated cancellation policy. Please keep this in mind when booking in the Winter months. We also have a similar policy for smoke in the Summer. There’s a chance due to wildfires that there are smokey air conditions during your stay. If evacuations were to take place (extremely rare around here!) then a refund would be given, but other than that we will stick to the stated cancellation policy. Thank you for your understanding!
